This is Ds Chauhan .
Today i am going to show you how to flash jelly bean stock Rom on your UNITE 2
FALSHING STOCK ROM
Things needed:
1. Root with CTR v2.2 Recovery
2. Sp flash tools and Mtk Droid Tools.
3. Jelly bean rom
4. Micromax Unite 2.
5. Stock Preloader.bin (use the one given)
PREPARING:-
1. For 1 and 2 go here:Root and CWM Recovery for Unite 2
2. Download Jelly Bean rom from download section
3.MAKE IMEI RELATED BACKUP
4.MAKE SP TOOLS FLASHABLE BACKUP
PROCEDURE:-
Procedure:
1. Download and install drivers Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.7z. (skip if already done)
If not working try these too PDAnet_4150.rar.
2. Make a backup of nvram using MTK Droid tools, as wiping data will wipe it. Guide->here
3. Place SuperSU v1.99r3.zip in memory card.
4. Start SP flash tools.
5. Select the scatter you get in rom and all files will be selected automatically in sp flash tools.
6. For data and cache, select secro.img.
7. Now select FIRMWARE UPGRADE instead of download only.
8. Click download and connect phone without battery.
Wait till the process completes.
9. You will see 'download ok', disconnect and restart your phone.
10. You will see 'encryption unsuccessful', power off the phone by removing battery and go to recovery (volume up=down=power on), tap lock/power button to see options.
11. With volume keys navigate to wipe data/factory rest and with menu key select it.
12. Once done, reboot your phone.
13. When phone boots up, power it off.
14. In sp flash tools, select ctr recovery, logo.bin from DOWNLOAD SECTION,click download.
15.Restart (recommended)SP flash tools and press ctrl+alt+v.
16. Go to 'window->write memory'.
17USE THE GIVEN PRELOADER
18. Click write and connect phone without battery.
19. Once done, start phone in recovery mode and flash 'SuperSU v1.99r3.zip' (rotate the phone in recovery mode and use it as normal)
20. Switch on the phone and connect it to pc. go to settings and enter developers options, and check usb debugging on.
21. Start MTK driod tools and Restore your NVRAM data. Guide->here
Enjoy jelly bean
Add ons(flash in recovery) :
1. Stockish 'about phone' (build prop)
2. Stock camera photo details
3. Replace bootanimation.zip and bootaudio from stock rom and delete bootlogo to get micromax look.
4. Swap internal and external sd.
Download this and rename it to vold.fstab.
Copy it and replace the original in system/etc.
Reboot.
Done!!!
