Here's One of the easiest & Finest Method To Install CTR recovery In Unite 2, Its A Completely New Tutorial, I have removed The Old One Because That One Hardly Works On Unite 2.

Prerequisites -:

SP Flash Tools -Download

CTR v2.2 Recovery - Download

You Can Use Another Custom Recovery If Any But For This Tutorial We WillUse CTR Recovery.

If Any Problem Is Coming Then DownloadFrom Here.

Steps To Install CTR Recovery Your Unite 2 -:

First of All Enable Developer Option By Tapping Settings > About Phone > Build No. 5-7 Times.It Will Enable Developer Options InYour Device.After Enabling Developer Options,
Go To Developer Options & Tick USB Debugging Option.
[Note - This Step Is Mandatory, It Will Protect Your Device From Any Type of Damage To Your Device.]

.Install The Drivers Properly In Your PC/Laptop.

DownloadMTK_6582_Scatter_File.

Open SP_Flash_Tools In Your PC/Laptop.

Select MTK_6582_Scatter..File.

Now, By Default All The Options Are Ticked/Selected. You Need To Untick All The Options Except Recovery Option.

Now Click on The Checked Recovery Option > Select CTR Recovery v2.2 File From The Directory Where You Saved It.

Press Download Button.

now Remove Bet try From Your Phone And Connect It With PC via USB cable

Wait For Sometime, A Green Ring Will Appear That Indicates That The Process Is Completed Successfully.

Now Press Power Button + Volume Up + Down Buttons Together. Then A Type of Black Screen With Some Text Will Appear, Now Press Volume Up Button Twice & Then Volume Down Button Once.Now You Have CTR Recovery on Your Unite 2 A106.

MYSELF DS CHAUHAN....

TODAY M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO FIX USB OTG BUG ON UNITE 2.

This is the fix for using otg feature to connect pendrive to micromax unite 2 . As it is not stock supported.


STEPS:-
1. First of all you guys must be rooted
  
2.Use usb otg helper app from the play store
 
3. Connect usb drive to unite 2
 
4. Open usb otg helper app
 
5. After giving root permission , click on mount.





6. Now with the help of any file explorer ( i used xplore though) , go to /storage/usbotgdrive/drive/here
You will see your mounted drive :-)

Read Back Is Must And Most Important .
In Case Of Sumthing Bad Happen,We Can Use This Backup To Get Back Our Phone
Ok Lets Start

Procedure

:
1. Download and install drivers
Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.7z . ( HERE )
If not working try these too
PDAnet_4150.rar .
Problem in installation?? Go here

2. Download scatter from here .

3. Open SP flash tools , load scatter in sp
flash tools and go to read back tab.
( alternative download link of sp flash tools )

4. Click ‘Add’ and tap on added read back
entry.

5. Select any path to save file and click ok,
write 0x3E180000 in length and click ok.

6. Click on read back and connect phone
without battery. Wait till it completes.

7. Once you see a green circle, close sp
flash tools and switch on the phone.

8. When the phone is on, connect it to pc.
See if any notification of ‘usb debugging’
comes in phone, if not, go to settings->about
phone->and tap build number 7 times to
enable debugging options.

9. Go back and enter developers options(in
settings), and check usb debugging on.

10. Now run mtk driod tools and it will detect
phone.

11. In mtk droid tools, click ‘root, backup and
recovery’ tab.


12. Click ‘To process file ROM_ from Flash
Tool.

13. Locate the file you got from read back.

14. Say no to make CWM recovery
automatically and cancel to choose a
recovery for similar phone.

15. Now wait again.

Once done, you will get your sp flashable
backup in MTK Driod Tools/backup.
Read back complete. :-)

(MOD) HOW TO BACKUP IMEI AND RESTORE BY MTK DROID TOOLS

BACKUP YOUR NVRAM BY MTK DROID {IMPORTANT }

Things needed:
1. Rooted rom. Guide->here
2. MTK Droid Tools.

Procedure:
1. Switch on the phone and connect it to pc.

2. Go to settings->about phone.

3. Tap build number 7 time.

4. Go back and enter developers options, and check usb debugging on.

5. Start MTK Driod Tools and click root. grant root permission in phone.

6. Click IMEI/NVRAM and click backup or restore as required.

Simple.

PREREQIESTIES:-

MAKE A MTK DROID TOOL BACKUP GUIDE-->HERE

DOWNLOAD ROM FROM THE DOWNLOAD SECTION AND THE PATCHED SCATTER FILE AND PRELOADER FILE THEN REPLACE THESE FILES  TO THE DOWNLOADED  ROM 

Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
 

- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
 

- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
 

- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
   –> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
 

- Turn off your phone, remove the battery and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).

- "Press Download button"
 

- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
 

- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
 

- And green circles display
 

- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

3. Select CDS Information from the Connectivity tab

4. Select Radio Information

5. Select the SIM you wish to change the IMEI on

6. At the AT+ line for SIM 1, enter AT+EGMR=1,7,THE-FIRST-IMEI-NUMBER. For SIM 2, enter AT+EGMR=1,10,THE-SECOND-IMEI-NUMBER. Of course where the words are, you will enter a number.

1. Root access on the phone

Procedures

1. Extract the MTK droid tools you downloaded. It would be extracted to the same folder the zipped file was except you change the location. On extraction, you would get a "MtkDroidTools" folder.

2. Open the folder and click on MTKdroidTools.exe to launch it

3. Install the ADB drivers if it has never been installed on the computer before. Connect the phone into the computer. On connecting, it would be identified with phone's information displayed. IMEI would be displayed too if its no.

after you install the custom rom and gapps, go back to the main menu of the recovery, and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW

this will restart your phone, with the new custom rom, the first time it starts it might take a few minutes, so dont worry about that


but if it takes a long time, this means something is wrong, if youre good at rooting and phones you can find a solution for that, if not, i suggest u just go back to recovery mode and restore the backup that you did before you installed this new custom rom

if everything works alright, your phone will boot to the new custom rom you installed, enjoy!

1.DOWNGRADE TO JELLYBEAN---> GUIDE HERE

 

Go To Recovery Mode :

 Switch off the Phone Press and hold "Volume Up + Power"  Butons

Select Recovery Mode by Volume Up and Proceed to Recovery by Volume Down

 

CWM:

  1. - install zip from sd --> - choose zip from sdcard --> - Select Zip    

  2. -wipe data factory reset --> Yes--delete all user data  

  3- wipe cache partition --> Yes--Wipe Cache   

  4. - advanced --> Wipe Dalvik Cache --> Yes--wipe dalvik cache    

  5. - mounts and storage --> Format /System /data /cache (Recommended)

  6.-reboot system now
